“Our rich literature is well-known all over the world, and we can be rightly proud of our great poets. Nezāmi is considered the greatest romantic epic poet. I am happy that here in India we are celebrating the 880th anniversary of the birth of Nizami which goes well with great international event of art. I am thankful to ICMEI and Indo Azerbaijan Film and Cultural Forum for highlighting our literature with fashion today,” said H.E. Ashraf Shikhaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India in the capacity of Chief Guest appreciating the quality of work presented by designers.
An impressive show was presented by young designers Kratika Manglik & Liza Garg who took the inspiration and designed for Azerbaijan, Ayushi Shukla also finalized her country Azerbaijan, whereas Sharik also had deep interest in designing for Azerbaijan. Atul Raj opted for Bulgaria, Hirdya Goel went out of way to design for China, Jahanvi Gupta preferred fiji, Sakshi Agarwal took ideas from Morocco, Nandani loved to do for Cyprus and Sadaf Khan & Ayus Negi set for India mentored by AAFT School of Fashion and Design informed Ritu Lal Director AAFT School of Fashion and Design.
Later Sheetal Sharma Secretary Delhi Chapter of Public Relation Society of India, Richa Mehta renowned Model and Entrepreneur, Roli Tripathi President Indi Royal Queen and Shivani Sharma renowned Designer also spoke on the occasion. Sandeep Marwah presented festival memento to the dignities. A dairy designed by Ketan Sharma was released by the guests. The event was supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, World Peace Development and Research Foundation and International Film and Television Research Centre.
