Noida, 4th October – The Indo Lesotho Film and Cultural Forum, under the esteemed leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, celebrated the Independence Day of the Kingdom of Lesotho at the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, located within Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

In a message marking this significant occasion, Dr. Marwah conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Lebohaba Valentine Mochaba, High Commissioner of Lesotho, as well as to the people of Lesotho. His message underscored the warmth and enduring friendship between India and Lesotho, a relationship that the Forum actively works to strengthen through art, culture, and media.

The Indo Lesotho Film and Cultural Forum, established with the vision of fostering cultural ties, has become a beacon for collaborative events that deepen mutual appreciation and understanding. Through a diverse array of cultural activities—including food festivals, film festivals, literary gatherings, fashion showcases, documentary screenings, and journalism festivals—the Forum serves as a bridge, bringing together the people of both nations in celebration of their shared values and creativity.

“India and Lesotho share a profound bond built on mutual respect and admiration,” stated Dr. Marwah. “Through the Indo Lesotho Film and Cultural Forum, we are committed to enriching this relationship by spotlighting our shared artistic heritage and promoting cultural exchange in every form.”

The celebration of Lesotho’s Independence Day further reaffirms the Forum’s dedication to nurturing and celebrating cross-cultural ties that contribute to international unity and understanding.
