Noida: The Administrative Team of the Women’s Football Federation of India (WFFI), led by Mukesh Sharma, paid a special visit to Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, to discuss future collaborations in the promotion of women’s sports through media, education, and entertainment.
The delegation was warmly received by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, Chancellor of AAFT University, and Patron of the Women’s Football Federation of India (WFFI). The meeting focused on exploring innovative ways to strengthen women’s football by utilizing the power of cinema, television, digital media, and educational initiatives.
Welcoming the delegation, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said, “Sports and media together have the power to inspire millions. Women’s football in India has witnessed remarkable growth, and it is our responsibility to provide greater visibility, encouragement, and opportunities to talented women athletes. The WFFI delegation appreciated the contribution of Marwah Studios towards promoting sports, youth development, and social causes through media and education. The members also expressed their gratitude to Dr. Marwah for his continued guidance and support as Patron of the Federation.
The meeting concluded with productive discussions on organizing awareness campaigns, sports-related film and television productions, educational programmes, workshops, and special events to encourage greater participation of women in football and promote sportsmanship across the country.
