Noida: The students of the AAFT School of Music had the privilege of attending an inspiring and highly informative workshop by Padmanabhan (Paddy), Head of Artist & Label Partnerships at Spotify India and a two-time Grammy Award-winning Associate Producer, at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.
With over two decades of experience in Artist & Repertoire (A&R), music production, artist development, and strategic partnerships, Padmanabhan shared valuable insights into the rapidly evolving global music industry, digital streaming platforms, artist branding, and the future of music careers.
Welcoming the distinguished guest, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University and President of Marwah Studios, said, “AAFT is committed to providing its students with direct exposure to the finest professionals from the creative industries. The interactive session covered a wide range of topics, including artist development, music publishing, streaming platforms, record labels, audience building, copyright awareness, industry networking, and career opportunities in the contemporary music business. Students enthusiastically participated in discussions and gained practical knowledge from one of the industry’s most accomplished professionals.
The workshop concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, where aspiring musicians received valuable career guidance and firsthand insights into the functioning of the global music industry. Dr Sandeep Marwah honoured Padmanabhan with life membership of International Film and Television Club of AAFT.
