The fact is that we learn from failures and not from success.,” initiated Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts while inaugurating Global Summit on Prison Reforms organized by Dr. Raju Anthony of All India Council of Human Rights Liberties and Social Justice online.
“It all started with The Prison Act 1894 followed by The Transfer of Prison Act 1950 and The Repatriation of Prison Act 2003. There are rules, Model Prison Manuals, Advisories, Guidelines, Reports and Actions but all of them need revision once again,” added Dr. Marwah

A long list of corrections, amendments, changes, additions, subtraction in the system came forward during the Global Summit on Prison Reforms.
