Noida: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, internationally recognised media personality, educationist and sports enthusiast, was honoured for his World Record in Sports and nominated as Patron of the Hapkido Foundation in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the promotion of sports, youth development and excellence.
The honour was presented by Ms. Priti Agrawal, Vice President of the Hapkido Foundation, along with members of the foundation, at a special ceremony held in Noida.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah expressed his gratitude to the Hapkido Foundation and said, “I am deeply honoured to be recognised for my contribution to sports and to be nominated as Patron of the Hapkido Foundation. Sports are not only about physical fitness and competition; they are powerful instruments for discipline, confidence, character building, leadership and national development. Dr. Marwah further emphasised the importance of martial arts and sports education in empowering the younger generation. He said that disciplines such as Hapkido teach valuable qualities including self-discipline, focus, perseverance, respect and mental strength, which are equally important in professional and personal life.
