Education is the need of the hour,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of CEGR- Centre for Education Growth and Research and Chancellor AAFT University of Media and Arts at the opening session of 5th Education Summit in Bangalore.

Instead, formal education is about gaining the knowledge and the skills needed to become a better person and create a better society to live in,” said Thaawar Chand Gehlot Honourable Governor of Karnataka while lighting the ceremonial lamp at inauguration of 5th Education Summit.
“The goal of education is the advancement of knowledge and the dissemination of truth. Knowledge is power. We all have to bring standards in education. Indian education system is big but it needs to add more quality to it,” Gehlot added.

Ravish Roshan Director CEGR briefed the house with the activities of CEGR and later proposed vote of thanks to all the dignities. Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented awards and mementos to some of the prominent educationist in higher education.
