Noida, India: The Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Forum, chaired by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, paid tribute to the veteran leader and India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, during 17th Global Film Festival at Marwah Film City, Noida. The forum, named after the iconic statesman, aims to keep his legacy alive by promoting his ideals and vision for India.
The occasion was marked by the launch of a commemorative poster dedicated to Pandit Nehru. The poster symbolized the nation’s gratitude for his contributions to India’s independence and development as a modern nation-state.

Thakur Anoop Singh, actor, highlighted Nehru’s role in shaping India’s international image. Mukesh Tyagi, actor, and Suchitra Pillai, actor, VJ, and singer, emphasized Nehru’s commitment to secularism and inclusivity. Preeti Mamgain, actor and President of the Screen Writers Association, connected Nehru’s vision with the evolving narratives in Indian cinema.
