New Delhi: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) extended its warmest congratulations to the Government and people of the Republic of Moldova on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day, celebrated on 27th August.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, conveyed his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to Mrs. Dana Paiu, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in India, and to the people of Moldova on this significant national occasion. “On behalf of ICMEI and the entire fraternity of art, culture, media and entertainment, I extend my warmest congratulations to Mrs. Dana Paiu and the people of Moldova on their Independence Day. May this important occasion bring greater prosperity, peace and happiness to the people of Moldova and further strengthen the bonds of friendship between India and Moldova,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.
Dr. Marwah emphasized the immense potential of art and culture as powerful instruments of international diplomacy and people-to-people relations. Such as He expressed ICMEI’s desire to expand cultural engagement with Moldova through cinema, television, media, performing arts, visual arts, literature, fashion, education and other creative disciplines.
“We are keen to enhance our activities of art and culture with Moldova and look forward to the cooperation and support of the Embassy of Moldova in India. We believe that regular cultural exchanges, film screenings, festivals, educational programmes and interactions between creative professionals can bring the people of our two countries even closer,” Dr. Marwah added.
ICMEI has been consistently working to promote international relations through art and culture. Hence creating platforms for filmmakers, artists, media professionals, educators and cultural representatives from different countries to interact and collaborate.
