Noida, India – The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), under the visionary leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, celebrated the Independence Day of Gambia with great enthusiasm at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City. The event was a testament to the strong cultural and diplomatic ties between India and Gambia, highlighting the role of media, cinema, and art in fostering global unity and cooperation.

On this prestigious occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, extended his warmest congratulations to His Excellency Mustapha Jawara, High Commissioner of Gambia, and the people of Gambia on the Independence Day of Gambia, celebrated on 18th February.

In his address, Dr. Marwah, who also serves as the Chair of the Indo-Gambia Film and Cultural Forum, emphasized the importance of cultural exchange and creative collaborations in strengthening relations between the two nations.

“The bond between India and Gambia is rooted in mutual respect and shared values. Through art, cinema, and media, we can build stronger bridges of understanding and create opportunities for growth and development in both countries,” said Dr. Marwah.

The Indo-Gambia Film and Cultural Forum, established under ICMEI, has been actively promoting collaborations in film, education, and cultural initiatives to enhance people-to-people connections between the two nations. The forum has been instrumental in organizing cultural events, film screenings, and academic exchanges, paving the way for a stronger and more dynamic relationship.

The celebration at Marwah Studios featured insightful discussions on Indo-Gambia collaborations, and a vision for future partnerships in the global entertainment industry. The event concluded with a renewed commitment to strengthening Indo-Gambia ties, ensuring continued growth through film, media, and cultural initiatives.
