Dr. Sandeep Marwah Visits Milan to Strengthen Indo-Italian Cultural and Business Relations Milan, Italy: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, renowned media personality, President of Marwah Studios, Founder of Noida Film City, and Chair of the Indo-Italian Film and Cultural Forum, visited Milan, Italy, to strengthen bilateral relations through art, culture, cinema and business cooperation.
The visit followed an invitation extended by the Honourable Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy, during his visit to New Delhi, reflecting the importance of strengthening engagement between the creative and professional communities of India and Italy.
During his visit to Milan, Dr. Marwah met Sir John Martin Thomas, President of the Association of Republic of Italians in the World–India Chapter, and Alberto Carlo Rivolta, a renowned Italian businessman. Discussions focused on expanding opportunities for collaboration in film production, cultural exchange, tourism, education and business, with an emphasis on building meaningful partnerships between the two countries.
Dr. Marwah was honoured by Dr. Paolo Donato Bertorelli, Mayor of Menconico, Italy, in recognition of his contribution to promoting international friendship and cultural relations. The interaction further highlighted the potential of local and international partnerships in strengthening ties between India and Italy.
Dr. Marwah also visited Suryanagara Ashram in Milan, where he met Maestra Emy Blesio, who honoured him for his efforts in advancing Indo-Italian relations through art and culture.
Speaking about the visit, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said that India and Italy share tremendous potential for cooperation in cinema, fashion, design, music, tourism, education and business. He emphasised that cultural diplomacy can create lasting bonds between nations and open new avenues for mutual growth.
The successful visit reinforced Dr. Marwah’s commitment to advancing the Indo-Italian Film and Cultural Forum and strengthening friendship between the two countries through “Love, Peace and Unity Through Art and Culture.”
