New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, renowned media personality and Chair of the Indo Nepal Film and Cultural Forum, was invited as the Guest of Honour at the Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi during a special function organized to welcome noted Nepali producer, director, writer, and actor Neer Bikram Shah.
The event was presided over by Dr. Surendra Thapa, who felicitated Dr. Marwah in recognition of his extraordinary contribution and unwavering support in strengthening the cultural, artistic, and people-to-people relations between India and Nepal. The ceremony was attended by a distinguished gathering of diplomats, artists, filmmakers, academicians, business leaders, and members of the Indian and Nepali communities.
While honouring Dr. Marwah, Dr. Surendra Thapa appreciated his consistent efforts through the Indo Nepal Film and Cultural Forum in promoting mutual understanding, cultural diplomacy, and collaborative initiatives between the two neighbouring nations. He acknowledged that Dr. Marwah’s leadership has significantly contributed to enhancing bilateral relations through cinema, media, education, art, and culture.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said, “I am deeply honoured to receive this recognition from the Embassy of Nepal. The visit of Neer Bikram Shah further strengthened the commitment of both countries to expand cooperation in the creative industries and encouraged greater interaction between filmmakers, artists, writers, and cultural institutions of India and Nepal.
