Dr. Sandeep Marwah Explores Jawai, Rajasthan for New Film Locations and Hospitality Research Jawai, Pali district / Rajasthan, India – Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism and Vice President of Film Federation of India, has embarked on a special visit to the breathtaking region of Jawai in Rajasthan to explore new and picturesque locations for film and television productions.

Nestled in the heart of Pali district, Jawai has emerged as one of India’s most unique destinations, offering an extraordinary blend of rugged landscapes, rich culture, and thriving wildlife. Located approximately three hours from Udaipur, the region is globally recognized for the rare and harmonious coexistence of leopards and the indigenous Rabari tribe, along with a seasonal influx of exotic migratory birds.

Speaking about the initiative, Dr. Marwah emphasized the importance of identifying fresh and visually compelling destinations for the global entertainment industry. “Jawai represents an untapped cinematic treasure with its dramatic terrain, unique wildlife presence, and vibrant local culture. It holds immense potential for filmmakers seeking authenticity and grandeur,” he said at the press conference at ITC Cheetahgarh Resort.

In addition to scouting film locations, Dr. Marwah is also focusing on strengthening the hospitality ecosystem in the region. As part of his visit, he aims to establish liaison with nearly 100 hotels and resorts operating in the Jawai belt. This initiative is intended to support academic research, enhance industry collaboration, and create new opportunities for students and professionals associated with hospitality and tourism.

The visit aligns with the broader vision of AAFT to integrate practical exposure with academic excellence, while also contributing to the growth of film tourism in India. By connecting the film industry with emerging destinations like Jawai, Dr. Marwah continues to promote India’s diverse cultural and natural heritage on the global stage.

Jawai, with its serene landscapes, luxury camps, and distinctive ecological balance, is fast becoming a preferred destination for niche tourism and cinematic ventures, and this initiative is expected to further elevate its global profile.
