New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Chair of the Indo Israel Film and Cultural Forum, attended the National Day celebrations of Israel held at Hotel Andaz, New Delhi.
The prestigious event was hosted by H.E. Reuven Azar, Ambassador of Israel to India, and was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Shri Kirti Vardhan Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affairs, Government of India, along with distinguished diplomats, government officials, business leaders, and prominent members of the cultural fraternity.
On the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah extended his heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Reuven Azar and the people of Israel on their National Day. He emphasized the strong and enduring friendship between India and Israel, which has grown steadily across multiple sectors including diplomacy, trade, technology, education, agriculture, media, and culture.
“India and Israel share a special bond based on mutual respect, trust, innovation, and cooperation. Through the Indo Israel Film and Cultural Forum, we are committed to taking this relationship to the next level through art, culture, cinema, media, and people-to-people engagement,” said Dr. Marwah.
Dr. Marwah highlighted the significant role played by ICMEI and the Indo Israel Film and Cultural Forum in promoting bilateral cultural relations. Over the years, Israel has actively partnered with ICMEI in numerous international events and festivals organized at Marwah Studios, including film festivals, cultural forums, media conferences, and educational initiatives.
He further noted that cultural diplomacy serves as a powerful bridge between nations, fostering greater understanding and friendship among people. The participation of Israel in major international events hosted by ICMEI has contributed immensely to strengthening cultural exchanges and collaborative opportunities between the two countries.
