Noida: The 11th Global Literary Festival Noida 2025 at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, celebrated the rich and diverse culinary heritage of Bangladesh through a special event titled “Cuisines from Bangladesh”, organized by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) in association with the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism.

The event was inaugurated by Mr. Faisal Mahmud, Minister (Press), High Commission of Bangladesh, who appreciated the initiative of promoting cultural exchange through the art of cuisine. He said, “Food carries the essence of our identity, emotions, and traditions. The presentation of Bangladeshi cuisine at this global platform beautifully reflects the warmth, hospitality, and vibrant culture of Bangladesh.”

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair for the Indo Bangladesh Film and Cultural Forum, welcomed the distinguished guest and emphasized the role of food in strengthening international relations. “Cuisine is a universal language that unites people beyond borders. This showcase of Bangladeshi flavors adds a wonderful cultural dimension to our festival and enhances our bond with Bangladesh,” said Dr. Marwah.

The students and faculty of the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism prepared an impressive menu featuring traditional Bangladeshi dishes that highlighted the nation’s culinary richness and diversity. The event provided guests a unique opportunity to experience the authentic taste of Bangladesh while celebrating the spirit of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The presentation of “Cuisines from Bangladesh” added a meaningful cultural flavor to the 11th Global Literary Festival Noida 2025, furthering ICMEI’s mission of promoting global unity through art, culture, and creativity.
