Noida: The AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism presented an extraordinary culinary showcase featuring the rich and diverse cuisines of the Philippines during the 17th Global Film Festival held at the iconic Marwah Film City, Noida. The event was inaugurated by His Excellency Josel Francisco, Ambassador of the Philippines to India, who graced the occasion with his presence.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University and President of the 17th Global Film Festival, welcomed the distinguished ambassador and shared the significance of highlighting global cultures through culinary arts. “The Filipino cuisine represents a beautiful blend of history, tradition, and flavor, which perfectly aligns with our festival’s mission to celebrate global diversity,” said Dr. Marwah.

Ambassador Josel Francisco expressed his admiration for the initiative, highlighting the cultural diplomacy that food can inspire. “Food is a universal language that connects people. I am thrilled to see the vibrant Filipino flavors being shared with such enthusiasm and creativity,” he remarked.

The event featured an array of traditional Filipino dishes meticulously prepared by students and faculty of the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism. This celebration of Filipino gastronomy was a part of the Global Film Festival’s ongoing efforts to promote intercultural exchange, making it not only a cinematic experience but a holistic cultural festivity.

The 17th Global Film Festival, organized by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), continues to set benchmarks in cultural and creative collaboration. The inclusion of Filipino cuisine this year added a unique flavor to the festival, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.
