.AAFT Announces Special Scholarship for Student from Panama through IPFCF. Noida, June 2025: In a significant move to strengthen cultural and educational ties between India and Panama. The Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT), under the umbrella of the Indo Panama Film and Cultural Forum (IPFCF), announced a special scholarship for a deserving student from Panama. The announcement made during the celebration of 32 years of the International Film and Television Research Centre (IFTRC). The commencement of the 125th historic batch of AAFT at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.
Hence The scholarship was ceremoniously handed over to H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel, the Hon’ble Ambassador of Panama to India. By Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University. The moment celebrated in the presence of dignitaries, faculty, students, and media professionals. Marking a milestone event in the long-standing relationship between the two nations.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, a visionary leader in media education and global cultural diplomacy, shared. Accepting the scholarship on behalf of the Government and people of Panama. H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel expressed heartfelt appreciation and said. “This scholarship is a powerful symbol of friendship and cooperation between Panama and India. It opens doors of opportunity for our youth to learn, explore, and contribute to the global creative industry. I thank Dr. Such as Marwah and the entire AAFT family for their generosity and vision. The event further reaffirmed AAFT’s role as a global hub for creative learning. Hence its commitment to internationalisation of education through meaningful partnerships. The scholarship will cover tuition and support services for a full-time course at AAFT for a deserving candidate from Panama, chosen in collaboration with the Embassy.
