Noida: India and Cyprus have long-standing cultural relations that have been strengthened through the exchange of art, music, dance, and literature. The cultural exchange program between the two nations has led to a better understanding of each other’s traditions and values. This collaboration has opened up avenues for mutual learning and growth, cementing the relationship between India and Cyprus on a cultural level,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Founder of Noida Film City and President of GFJN at the screening of Cyprus Documentary at Marwah Studios.
Yiannakis Makrides Deputy Head of the Mission, High Commission of Cyprus inaugurated the documentary film “ Olga’s Garden”. It is an audio-visual statement on the impact of high rises on the lives of citizens who live in between the construction sites, and its effect on their private and shared space. The film is produced by Maria Loizidou, and Danae Stylianou from Cyprus.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented festival memento and the Award of Distinction to Cyprus Documentary received by Yiannakis Makrides immediately after the screening. The event was supported by Asian Unity Alliance, Indo Cyprus Film and Cultural Forum & World Peace Development and Research Foundation.
