Alberto A Guani Ambassador of Uruguay to India to guide us and to support us in developing and promoting relation between two countries India and Uruguay,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry while presenting a certificate of Patronship of newly formed Indo Uruguay Film and Cultural Forum to the Ambassador.
“There are great opportunities and challenges in technology, economics, e-commerce, green economy, renewable energy and art & Culture that we can still do more to develop our relationship with India. Our idea is to bring people together and we hope to be a powerful symbol in this difficult but not impossible task. The Uruguayan point of view is that we are a country on a human scale and we can collaborate with India in order to enhance our friendship and cooperation. Our two countries cherish democracy and we are confident that we can both achieve mutual prosperity for our people,” advised Ambassador Alberto A Guani.
Prior to Ambassador of Uruguay to India Alberto Guaini was the Director of Institutional Affairs. Before that he was Director of the Diplomatic Academy, Instituto Artigas del Servicio Exterior. Casa Persico, Montevideo, Uruguay. He was also Ambassador of Uruguay to the Federal Republic of Germany from 2012 to 2017. And earlier he was Director General for Cultural Affairs of the Uruguayan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
