“We have developed wonderful relations with Ghana under the leadership of H.E. Dr. Michael Aaron N. N. Oquaye Esq (Jnr) the former Ghana’s High Commissioner to India, with concurrent responsibility for Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Maldives. Ghana’s participation could be seen in every major event organised by the Chamber,” added Sandeep Marwah also Chair for Indo Ghana Film And Cultural Forum.
On the 6 March 1957 Kwame Nkrumah declared to the people of Ghana about their freedom, he added that, “the African People are capable of managing their own affairs and Ghana our beloved country is free forever. Ghana was the first country in sub-Saharan Africa to achieve its independence from European colonial rule.
