It is the feeling of oneness, brotherhood and social unity under communities and society in a country. National Integration helps in keeping the stability of the country and helps in the development. It nourishes communal harmony and fights casteism, regionalism and linguistic differences. It enhances the feeling of loyalty towards the nation and aims at unifying people and media plays a very important role in uniting the country said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of 10th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2022 in a seminar organised by International Journalism Centre titled National and International Integration through Media and 2nd Marwah Studios International Awards for Journalism.
Media globalization is the worldwide integration of media through the cross-cultural exchange of ideas, while technological globalization refers to the cross-cultural development and exchange of technology. The mass media are seen today as playing a key role in enhancing globalization, facilitating culture exchange and multiple flows of information and image between countries through international news broadcasts, television programming, new technologies, film and music” said General J.J. Singh former Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Chief Guest of the Webinar.
